Our business grew from humble beginnings. In 2016, after numerous years in the hospitality industry, I decided to take the leap into self-employment. I started selling my handmade gifts at Christmas fairs, and I was overjoyed by the enthusiastic response from customers. This success led me to rent a kiosk in a thriving shopping centre, and business continued to grow along with my creative flair.

Inspired by the shabby chic trend, I began upcycling workshops and quickly became hooked. Sustainability is very important to me; I believe that if we all play a small part in saving the planet, we can make a difference. This passion led me to become a stockist of cutting-edge brands like Redesign with Prima, Dixie Belle Chalk Paint, and Mint by Michelle Decoupage—providing all the tools needed to transform drab vintage furniture into stunning pieces of art.
In 2020, I opened Le Chic Antique, but sadly, the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic forced us to close. It was a tough learning curve, but it taught us resilience and adaptability. In July 2022, we found new premises and established Vintage Charm. Our business continues to grow as we build an online presence and offer interior design services, redesigning vintage furniture in customers’ homes.

We attend trade shows to gain inspiration and check out “the latest trends” to bring affordable furniture and home decor. We love fusing vintage with contemporary classics and quirky accessories. Vintage Charm is an eclectic emporium, where you will find everything, your home needs and more.
