WoodUbend is a revolutionary and unique type of decorative moulding. It has all the properties of wood, and can be drilled, sanded, glued, painted, stained, varnished, or distressed and, additionally, can be bent as desired when heated up. There are over 3250 mould designs currently in existence, including some large and elaborate designs produced to special order. Some of the moulds used to create these mouldings are themselves made using the latest 3D printing technology. Backed by expert personnel both here and at the manufacturing plants…..
A simple guide to applying your mouldings to any surface….
To apply woodubend you will need…..
1, Specific wood glue
2, Heat… Hairdryer, Heat gun, Griddle
Heat your woodubend depending on the size and thickness of the mould this could take a few seconds to nearly a minute…
Tip… even if you believe you are sticking the Woodubend to a completely flat surface we ALWAYS recommend heating before application.
3, Apply glue using a small-tipped brush, an average amount is fine, not to much as to create over-spill once stuck down but not to little that it won’t make a difference!
Fact… We always use specific wood glue as it adheres best to the moulding and consolidates with the molecular structure of the Woodubend.
4, Press the moulding against the area you want to apply it to. Using some pressure, press the moulding to the surface holding down around the corners, you may need to introduce a heat gun if the moulding has cooled down- you can reposition with extra heat, hold in place until it has cooled down and secure…
Tip….has any excess glue spilled out between the gaps in the moulding? It is easily wiped away with the likes of a baby wipe, kitchen roll cotton bud..
